Last week I went to photograph Hermione and Beatrice, two lovely twins, and their older sister Harriet. Harriet has been a regular subject for my portrait work and features in the gallery on my main website, and she too remains as photogenic as ever! The session went really well, and all the children were delightful throughout! I don’t do “white background” portrait photography or work in a studio, preferring to do the portraits in people’s houses or outside (sometimes called “lifestyle photography”) and this was no exception, the majority of the photographs taking place in the living room. I think this gives a lot more character to a photograph and can also help the subjects relax more!
